Twisted vine flip-top mittens digital pattern

This is a downloadable pattern for twisted vine flip-top mittens using double knitting weight yarn.

Please note that this listing is for the downloadable pattern to enable you to knit this yourself and not for a knitted item. 

These ladies’ mittens have 2 optional buttons. If the mittens are to be generally worn with the top in place it is possible to include a button and buttonhole on the inside of the mitten to prevent gapping. If it is thought that that the mitten is to be flipped frequently, a button/loop can be included to secure in place (as shown in the second image on the pattern cover). The mittens are knitted flat and stitched up when knitted.

The palm of these mittens are knitted in moss stitch to help give some grip.

The pictured examples was knitted using Allium Threads double knitting yarn in Trunk base, a 100% organic merino yarn in colourway Forest Green and requires one 100g skein.
