Special order Gillian Sheep yarn

This is for a 50g skein of Silky Boucle for the body of a sheep.

Catkin – Silky Boucle

70% Silk, 30% non-superwash Super-fine Merino

Four ply 100g Skeins Approx. 400m

This is a really fun yarn. It is very soft and bouncy. It could be used for scarves, shawls and garments but I wouldn’t recommend it for socks.

I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences.

I have rinsed the yarn until it runs clear. However, some dye may remain.
I recommend you soak your finished item in a gentle/pH neutral soap. Natural dyes can change or fade slightly as they age. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight and store in a dark place.
