This cowl is knitted seamlessly in the round using four ply yarn and a 3.25 mm (US size 3) circular needle. It is knitted in a simple knit and purl pattern and could be worn with either side outwards. There are patterns for two sizes included. The larger size uses approximately 88 g / 321 m or 348 yards of four ply yarn and the smaller approximately 67 g / 250 m or 274 yards of four ply yarn.
Sap, Twig and Branch four ply Allium Thread yarns are all suitable.
The larger size measures approximately 68 cm (27 inches) circumference, 29 cm (11.5 inches) deep and the smaller 58 cm (22.5 inches) circumference and 29 cm (11.5 inches) deep.
It could be knitted in a single colour or using mini skeins to vary the colours as in the pictured example.
