Purple double knit British Wensleydale

These are 100g skeins of Double knitting weight British Wensleydale yarn.

This is a lustrous yarn spun in Yorkshire. Wensleydale has a long staple, the individual strands of wool are long which makes it a silky yarn.

100% British Wensleydale - Double knit 100g Skeins Approx. 233m

Hand dyed with logwood to give a rich purple.

Dye lot 19275.

I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences.

I have rinsed the yarn until it runs clear. However, some dye may remain.
I recommend you soak your finished item in a gentle/pH neutral soap. Natural dyes can change or fade slightly as they age. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight and store in a dark place.
