This is a kit for the twisted vine flip-top mittens using double knitting weight yarn.
It includes the printed pattern and a 100g skein of wool to knit the mittens.
These ladies’ mittens have 2 optional buttons. If the mittens are to be generally worn with the top in place it is possible to include a button and buttonhole on the inside of the mitten to prevent gapping. If it is thought that that the mitten is to be flipped frequently, a button/loop can be included to secure in place (as shown in the second image on the pattern cover). The mittens are knitted flat and stitched up when knitted.
The palm of these mittens are knitted in moss stitch to help give some grip.
The yarn included is Allium Threads Trunk base which is 100% Superwash Merino - Double knit 100g Skeins Approx. 225m
A lovely bouncy yarn which is warm and versatile. Use for any type of garment or accessories.
The pictured examples was knitted using colourway Forest Green and requires one 100g skein.
