Sea and Sky Self striping merino nylon sock yarn
Sea and Sky Self striping merino nylon sock yarn
These are skeins of self striping sock yarn. It has been dyed so that it will knit up in stripes if you are knitting socks but could be used for all sorts of projects. It is 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon, Four ply 100g Skeins Approx. 425m This is a very soft and versatile workhorse yarn. The nylon content makes it strong so it can be used for a huge range of items; socks, shawls, sweaters, hats and gloves. It has been hand dyed by me in my studio with saxon blue and pomegranate to give the colours of the sea and the sky in shades of blue and green.
I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently. Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences. |
