Summer pudding Self striping merino nylon sock yarn

These are skeins of self striping sock yarn. It has been dyed so that it will knit up in stripes if you are knitting socks but could be used for all sorts of projects. 

 It is 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon, Four ply 100g Skeins Approx. 425m

This is a very soft and versatile workhorse yarn. The nylon content makes it strong so it can be used for a huge range of items; socks, shawls, sweaters, hats and gloves.

It has been hand dyed by me in my studio with cochineal to give the colours of the summer berries, fruit fool and summer pudding.

I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences.

I have rinsed the yarn until it runs clear. However, some dye may remain. A little may come off when using the yarn but this will quickly settle down and should not run.
I recommend you soak your finished item in a gentle/pH neutral soap. Natural dyes can change or fade slightly as they age. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight and store in a dark place.
