Bubble scarf kit

This kit is for a Bubble scarf and contains a pattern and one skein of Berry base DK weight mohair loop yarn. No needles are included.

This is a fun boucle yarn which has a smaller sized loop than the chunky version used for the Bladder-wrack neck wrap. It gives a beautiful texture when knitted up. The nylon content provides a strong thread required to hold the boucle loops.

75% Kid Mohair, 20%wool, 5% Nylon - Double knit weight - 100g Skeins Approx. 220m

The scarf finished size: 131 cm (51 1/2 inches) long, 25 cm (10 inches) wide. It is knitted on 4mm needles. It is an easy knit.

It would make a great gift for the knitter in your life. It comes in an organza bag.

I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences.

I have rinsed the yarn until it runs clear. However, some dye may remain.
I recommend you soak your finished item in a gentle/pH neutral soap. Natural dyes can change or fade slightly as they age. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight and store in a dark place.
