Caramel double knit Hip

These are skeins of double knitting weight yarn in my Hip base.

This is a soft yarn with some lustre and a lovely drape to it when knitted up.

50% Baby Alpaca, 25% Silk, 25% Linen - Double knit 100g Skeins Approx. 225m

These skeins have been hand dyed with acorns and alder to give shades of caramel, giving a warm and pretty neutral shade. Dye lot 19185.

I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences.

I have rinsed the yarn until it runs clear. However, some dye may remain.
I recommend you soak your finished item in a gentle/pH neutral soap. Natural dyes can change or fade slightly as they age. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight and store in a dark place.
